Description

  • Drive adoption of Elastic's AI-powered solutions within existing accounts and new groups of users.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to help customers turn search analytics into actionable insights.
  • Identify and develop new use cases that demonstrate the value of Elastic's solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Elastic teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Proactively uncover new business opportunities and navigate complex sales cycles.
  • Develop and execute a territory business plan leveraging community, customer, and partner ecosystems.
  • Build relationships with developers and executives to establish credibility and support growth.
  • Manage sales forecasting using SFDC.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in SaaS subscription sales with cross-sell motions within accounts.
  • Demonstrated quota overachievement and strong customer references.
  • Experience selling Enterprise Search, Log Analytics, Security, or APM solutions, ideally.
  • Ability to build relationships and establish credibility with both developers and executives.
  • Consistent and accurate sales forecasting skills using SFDC.
  • Enthusiasm for the open source model and appreciation for the surrounding community.
  • Prior experience selling into enterprise accounts in the territory.
  • Experience selling within an open source model (bonus).

Benefits

  • Base salary plus variable compensation in a 50/50 OTE pay mix.
  • Typical starting salary range of $78,700 to $124,500 USD.
  • Typical starting target variable range of $78,600 to $124,400 USD.
  • Typical starting OTE range of $157,300 to $248,900 USD.
  • Eligibility to participate in Elastic's stock program.
  • Company-matched 401(k) with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings.
