Description

  • Sell Databricks to high-growth, venture-backed digital native accounts and close new business.
  • Own strategic accounts and grow consumption within existing and new customers.
  • Penetrate accounts quickly and compress decision cycles by demonstrating customer value.
  • Meet with C-level executives through practitioner-level stakeholders to understand business outcomes.
  • Communicate account strategy to Databricks senior leadership on a regular basis.
  • Allocate Databricks resources to break into new accounts and expand existing accounts.
  • Meet and exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets.
  • Build internal success plans at Databricks and external account plans with customers.
  • Use a creative, fail-fast sales approach to create value for customers.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience with open source technologies and build-vs-buy decision-making.
  • 6-8 years of experience with value selling methodologies.
  • Sales experience in big data, cloud, or SaaS sales.
  • Proven experience exceeding sales quotas.
  • Success closing new accounts.
  • Passion for selling a highly technical product in the cloud.
  • Experience with a creative prospecting motion.
  • Ability to work with strategic accounts and sell to technically advanced customers.

Benefits

  • On-target earnings for this commissionable role of $311,600 to $428,450 USD, depending on location.
