Description

  • Own a defined territory and build a proactive outbound pipeline through email, calls, and social outreach.
  • Drive deep discovery and qualification to assess pain points, business impact, budget, and decision criteria.
  • Deliver tailored value stories and live demos that connect Elastic’s Search, Observability, and Security offerings to business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with customers to build close plans and maintain accurate CRM forecasting.
  • Lead pricing and contract negotiations to close multi-year, high-value consumption commitments.
  • Position Elastic as the Search AI platform of choice by discussing cloud economics, usage-based pricing, and modern data architectures.
  • Partner closely with Solutions Architects, Customer Success, Marketing, and RevOps to accelerate deals and improve customer outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience closing complex enterprise SaaS deals in a quota-carrying role.
  • Proven success overachieving targets in a consumption-based or usage-model environment.
  • Experience applying MEDDPICC or an equivalent qualification framework.
  • Track record of delivering executive-level presentations and product demos tied to measurable business value.
  • History of negotiating multi-year, high-ACV contracts while protecting margin and securing stakeholder buy-in.
  • Comfort discussing observability, security, vector and traditional search, and cloud cost optimization.
  • Collaborative, coachable, and effective at partnering with internal teams.
  • Genuine appreciation for open-source communities and the Elastic model, with OSS selling or advocacy experience preferred.
  • Prior experience at an open-source or developer-centric infrastructure company is a plus.
  • Familiarity with observability use cases such as logs, metrics, and traces, or security analytics use cases such as SIEM/XDR is a plus.

Benefits

  • Typical starting salary range of $123,900 to $196,000 CAD.
  • Typical starting target variable range of $123,800 to $195,900 CAD.
  • Typical starting on-target earnings range of $247,700 to $391,800 CAD.
