Description

  • Drive adoption of Elastic’s AI-powered search, observability, and security solutions in new and existing enterprise accounts.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with users and customers to translate search analytics into actionable business insights.
  • Position Elastic through discussions of cloud economics, usage-based pricing, and modern data architectures.
  • Identify and solve complex customer data challenges beyond transactional selling.
  • Articulate the value of Elastic’s commercial and open-source offerings to different stakeholders.
  • Identify new use cases and demonstrate how Elastic’s solutions improve efficiency and decision-making.
  • Develop business plans that leverage community, customer, and partner ecosystems to grow the territory.
  • Proactively identify opportunities and manage complex sales cycles from discovery through close.
  • Lead deep discovery and qualification using frameworks such as MEDDPICC to prioritize high-confidence deals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Solutions Architects, Customer Success, Marketing, and RevOps to accelerate deals and improve outcomes.

Requirements

  • Experience in SaaS subscription sales within enterprise accounts with a record of overachievement.
  • Ability to create tailored value narratives that connect technical capabilities to measurable business outcomes.
  • Comfort leading high-stakes contract and pricing negotiations.
  • Technical and cloud fluency across security, observability, vector and traditional search, and cloud cost optimization.
  • Ability to establish credibility with both technical teams and executive leadership.
  • Strong forecasting discipline with the ability to build close plans and keep CRM data current.
  • Ability to create alignment across teams to accelerate deals.
  • An AI-first mindset and comfort using new technologies to improve performance and deal structuring.
  • Enthusiasm for open-source models and the communities that rely on them.
  • Experience with MEDDPICC or similar qualification frameworks is preferred.
