Description

  • Own the end-to-end sales process for a territory focused on Corporate Strategy, Competitive Intelligence, Business Development, Investor Relations, and M&A buyers.
  • Research opportunities, prospect new accounts, initiate sales conversations, and build qualified relationships.
  • Conduct product demos and manage product trials through to purchase.
  • Close new business deals and manage all stages of the sales cycle.
  • Partner with SDRs to create prospecting plans and generate pipeline.
  • Forecast accurately and build the pipeline needed to meet or exceed quota.
  • Work closely with Product Specialists during trials to drive client engagement and conversion.
  • Collaborate with Account Management to support customer health and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Gather customer and prospect feedback and share it with sales and product teams to improve the product offering.

Requirements

  • Experience owning a book of new business, ideally in Mid-Market sales.
  • Strong track record of success in a SaaS or non-SaaS sales environment.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial data and concepts to non-financial audiences.
  • Ability to sell to large, matrixed Fortune 1000 organizations.
  • Strong prospecting mindset with the ability to drive pipeline independently.
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to uncover business challenges through strong questioning.
  • Coachability and openness to feedback and ongoing development.
  • Tenacity, resilience, and a strong drive to succeed.
  • Experience working in or selling to Corporate Strategy, Competitive Intelligence, Business Development, Investor Relations, or M&A is preferred.
