Description

  • Drive adoption of Elastic’s AI-powered search, observability, and security solutions in new and existing enterprise accounts.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by helping them turn data into actionable insights.
  • Position Elastic as the Search AI platform of choice through conversations about cloud economics, usage-based pricing, and modern data architectures.
  • Solve complex customer data challenges beyond simple transactional selling.
  • Champion Elastic’s open-source offerings while articulating the value of commercial features.
  • Identify new use cases that show how Elastic improves efficiency and decision-making.
  • Develop strategic territory plans using community, customer, and partner ecosystems to drive growth.
  • Proactively identify opportunities and manage complex enterprise sales cycles.
  • Run deep discovery and qualification using frameworks such as MEDDPICC to assess pain, impact, budget, and decision criteria.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Solutions Architects, Customer Success, Marketing, and RevOps to accelerate deals and improve customer outcomes.

Requirements

  • Experience in SaaS subscription sales within enterprise accounts with a demonstrated record of overachievement.
  • Ability to combine technical curiosity with a value-based selling approach.
  • Experience crafting tailored value stories that connect technical capabilities to measurable business outcomes.
  • Comfort leading high-stakes contract and pricing negotiations.
  • Ability to discuss security, observability, vector and traditional search, and cloud cost optimization.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with both technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Consistent, accurate forecasting and the ability to build formal close plans while keeping CRM records current.
  • Ability to create alignment across teams to move deals forward.
  • Interest in using new technologies and AI to improve performance and deal structure.
  • Enthusiasm for open-source software and the community around it.
