Description

  • Drive adoption of Elastic’s AI-powered search, observability, and security solutions in new and existing enterprise accounts.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by helping customers turn search analytics into actionable business insights.
  • Position Elastic as the search AI platform of choice by discussing cloud economics, usage-based pricing, and modern data architectures.
  • Identify customer use cases and show how Elastic can improve efficiency and decision-making.
  • Develop business plans that leverage community, customer, and partner ecosystems to grow the territory.
  • Proactively identify opportunities and manage complex sales cycles from discovery through close.
  • Use structured discovery and qualification frameworks such as MEDDPICC to assess pain, impact, budget, and decision criteria.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Customer Success, Marketing, and RevOps to accelerate deals and improve customer outcomes.
  • Lead contract and pricing negotiations with enterprise stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, close plans, and CRM updates.

Requirements

  • Experience selling SaaS subscriptions into enterprise accounts with a demonstrated record of overachievement.
  • High-level technical curiosity paired with the approach of a value-based seller.
  • Ability to craft value narratives linking technical capabilities to business outcomes such as revenue growth or risk mitigation.
  • Comfort discussing security, observability, vector and traditional search, and cloud cost optimization.
  • Ability to build credibility with both technical audiences and executive leadership.
  • Strong executive negotiation and closing skills for high-stakes contract and pricing discussions.
  • Consistent, predictable, and accurate sales forecasting skills.
  • Experience creating alignment across teams to move deals forward.
  • Enthusiasm for the open-source model and the community around Elastic’s solutions.
  • Ability to use new technologies for performance advantage and deal structuring is preferred.

  • Typical on-target earnings range of €157,000 to €248,400 EUR, combining base salary and variable compensation.
