Description

  • Lead day-to-day execution across programs and operations, setting priorities, managing workflows, and ensuring consistent program delivery.
  • Run weekly Zoom calls with regional leadership and volunteers, attend key meetings with the Founder, track action items, and ensure follow-through.
  • Manage performance tracking across regions, including weekly participation reporting, dashboards by school and classroom, scorecard submission, and follow-up with inactive families.
  • Build and manage systems, processes, dashboards, reporting tools, and data structures, and oversee data integrity and technical implementation.
  • Coordinate volunteer and regional operations, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing engagement.
  • Oversee milestone incentives, communications, and training systems to support consistent program delivery.
  • Support expansion by preparing for new schools and regions, leading trainings, and recommending staffing or system changes.
  • Monitor engagement and outcomes for children and families, with a focus on improving participation and completion rates.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience building and scaling operations in nonprofit, education, or community-based organizations.
  • Experience creating structure and working effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Ability to design and use dashboards, metrics, and performance systems to drive results.
  • Strong commitment to improving outcomes for children and families in underserved communities.
  • Experience managing teams and/or multi-site programs.
  • Ability to translate strategy into execution and measurable results.
  • Experience in early childhood, literacy, or family engagement initiatives, preferred.
  • Ability to build trust within Black and underserved communities, preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish, preferred.
  • Must be willing to work hands-on in the day-to-day program rather than primarily through delegation.
  • Must be comfortable working closely with the Founder in a direct, collaborative relationship.

Benefits

  • Full-time independent contractor position.
  • Annual compensation range of $80,000 to $125,000 depending on experience.
  • Meaningful performance-based bonus structure.
  • Bonuses reviewed twice annually.
  • Bonus eligibility tied to measurable outcomes such as parent enrollment, scorecard completion, school-level engagement, and regional performance.
