Description

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, and healthcare markets.
  • Serve as a primary sponsor liaison throughout the sales lifecycle and maintain responsive client engagement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers and influencers to support new business, renewals, and expansion.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing client accounts.
  • Draft revenue-generating proposals, budgets, estimates, and related sales deliverables.
  • Support RFPs, RFIs, Statements of Work, Change Orders, and commercial proposals.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure proposals are accurate, compliant, and aligned with solution capabilities.
  • Manage leads and opportunities in HubSpot CRM and maintain pipeline data accuracy and visibility.
  • Monitor sales activity trends and provide insights for forecasting and pipeline reviews.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on go-to-market initiatives, campaigns, trade shows, and lead follow-up.
  • Provide market, customer, and competitive insights to support sales strategy, solution development, and account targeting.

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in business development, sales operations, or commercial roles within life sciences or technology-enabled services.
  • Experience identifying, developing, and nurturing client relationships that lead to qualified business opportunities.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, plus marketing and analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with proposal development processes, including RFPs, RFIs, Statements of Work, and Change Orders.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from pipeline, market, and customer data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field; relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of specific degree focus.
  • Advanced proficiency in English is required.
  • Limited travel of approximately 5%, with occasional weekend travel possible.
  • Experience in clinical research, clinical technology, biostatistics, biometrics, or data-driven life sciences services is preferred.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled platforms, analytics solutions, or cloud-based software offerings is preferred.
  • Experience supporting enterprise or consultative sales models is preferred.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sponsor landscape is preferred.
