Description

  • Meet sales targets by growing revenue and expanding market share across assigned accounts and opportunities.
  • Develop leads, acquire new customers, and win and maintain key accounts and customer commitment.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through market growth, funneling, and key account planning.
  • Engage existing and prospective customers through direct sales and sales partnering to achieve revenue objectives.
  • Plan and coordinate informative customer events to promote Dymax technologies, products, lines, and services.
  • Develop, execute, and follow up on the sales process, including account audits, proposals, quotes, and presentations.
  • Create and implement a territory account sales plan aligned with target opportunities and revenue goals.
  • Generate new business through cold calling, lead generation, responding to inquiries, and prospect research.
  • Coordinate with global key account teams and internal sales partners to capture in-territory opportunities.
  • Identify customer needs at target accounts and liaise with Business Development and R&D on solution development.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 3+ years of related sales experience, preferably in custom adhesives, chemicals, coatings/paint, medical/pharmaceutical/food manufacturing, or packaging/dispensing environments.
  • Ability to handle and operate equipment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows-based software.
  • Ability to travel up to 80%.
  • Self-directed, resourceful, detail-oriented, and committed to following through.
  • Positive and professional attitude under pressure.
  • Ability to actively listen, empathize, and present to both potential and current customers.
