Description

  • Own customer integrations end-to-end, from kickoff through configuration, validation, troubleshooting, and go-live handoff.
  • Lead onboarding calls and scope each customer’s integration landscape, including systems, entities, and sync frequency.
  • Build, configure, and extend native connectors for supported source systems and help develop new ones when needed.
  • Diagnose and resolve data issues by tracing mismatches between source systems and Drivetrain models.
  • Collaborate with Solution Consultants, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to deliver integrations and surface product feedback.
  • Write and maintain customer-facing setup guides, internal runbooks, and connector reference documentation.
  • Serve as the technical advocate for customers inside Drivetrain and communicate issues and solutions clearly.
  • Monitor source-system and API changes and proactively assess customer impact.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in integration engineering, data engineering, solutions engineering, or implementation engineering, ideally for a SaaS product handling financial or operational data.
  • Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write multi-CTE queries and explain query plans.
  • Working proficiency in Python or a comparable scripting language for connectors, transformations, and utilities.
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, webhooks, and common authentication patterns such as API keys, service accounts, and token rotation.
  • Familiarity with at least 2–3 source systems listed in the posting and their data models, APIs, and extraction challenges.
  • Comfort with data modeling concepts such as primary keys, joins, slowly changing dimensions, deduplication, time zones, currency conversion, and chart-of-accounts hierarchies.
  • Debugging skills across the stack, including reading logs and isolating issues in APIs, connectors, transformations, or destination models.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with clear live-call communication.
  • Ability to work overlapping US Eastern Time business hours on a shifted schedule, typically late afternoon to late evening IST.
  • Preferred: exposure to SOAP and GraphQL.
  • Preferred: experience at a finance, analytics, or data integration company such as Fivetran, Workato, Airbyte, Mulesoft, Stitch, or dbt Labs.
  • Preferred: working knowledge of finance and accounting concepts such as GL, AR/AP, deferred revenue, cohorting, and multi-entity consolidation.
