Description

  • Own lifecycle campaigns from concept through development, QA, deployment, and optimization.
  • Build campaigns directly inside Customer.io, including segmentation logic, triggered workflows, email templates, and QA.
  • Identify lifecycle messaging opportunities across the customer journey.
  • Design and execute behavior-triggered lifecycle messaging programs.
  • Partner with the lifecycle copywriter and design team to develop clear, effective messaging.
  • Run structured lifecycle experiments to improve activation and engagement performance.
  • Analyze campaign results and translate insights into follow-up improvements.
  • Audit lifecycle coverage and propose new campaigns that support growth objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, data, and support teams on messaging tied to customer milestones and feature adoption.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM marketing, or customer marketing.
  • Experience owning lifecycle campaigns end-to-end from planning through optimization.
  • Hands-on experience building campaigns in lifecycle platforms such as Customer.io, Braze, or Iterable.
  • Experience building lifecycle emails inside platforms like Customer.io, including templates, dynamic content, and basic HTML or Liquid personalization.
  • Experience implementing lifecycle experiments or A/B tests and using results to improve performance.
  • Strong understanding of customer lifecycle stages and behavior-based messaging strategies.
  • Experience partnering with copywriters and designers to launch campaigns efficiently.
  • Strong execution discipline and attention to detail when building and QAing campaigns.
  • Ability to identify opportunities independently and move ideas into execution.
  • Preferred experience working in SaaS or SMB-focused products, supporting messaging across SMS, WhatsApp, or in-app messaging, and collaborating in fast-moving startup or high-growth environments.
  • Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, Stripe, Enterpret, ReferralHero, Notion, or Figma is a plus.
  • Experience collaborating closely with product teams on lifecycle messaging tied to feature adoption is preferred.
