Description

  • Own the strategy, roadmap, and backlog for the endpoint protection platform across supported operating systems.
  • Define DNSFilter’s approach to governing AI activity on devices, including shadow AI use and agent visibility and control.
  • Own product behavior in unmanaged environments, including deployment, software conflicts, VPNs, and unfamiliar networks.
  • Determine what the product inspects, logs, and retains while balancing encryption and privacy considerations.
  • Design usable, configurable, and measurable experiences and data for each capability.
  • Partner with Engineering and Architecture on feasibility, trade-offs, sequencing, and detailed work items.
  • Represent the product with enterprise, MSP, OEM, distribution, and direct customers, partners, and prospects.
  • Participate in candidate interviews.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience, including substantial work on security, networking, or endpoint products.
  • Understanding of traffic interception, inspection, filtering, isolation, encryption, and privacy trade-offs.
  • Experience with software deployed through MDM, RMM, and scripting in environments the company does not control.
  • Perspective on protecting AI use, including shadow AI and visibility into device-based agents and tools.
  • Track record of taking undefined problems through to shipped products.
  • Experience designing interfaces, reporting, and data for technical users.
  • Ability to work hands-on with engineers and write both product roadmaps and detailed work items.
  • Regular use of AI tools, particularly Claude, with sound judgment about their application.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical trade-offs to varied stakeholders.
  • Ability to overlap working hours with Eastern Time and work authorization without current or future employer sponsorship.
  • Experience with multi-tenant, white-label, or partner-delivered products preferred.
  • Engineering, solutions architecture, or security research background preferred.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, product analytics, and customer feedback tools preferred.
