Description

  • Take full ownership of implementing new features and enhancements for payouts and payments products.
  • Design, develop, and deliver high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems.
  • Contribute across all phases of the software development lifecycle, from design through deployment and maintenance.
  • Write well-designed, testable, efficient code and ensure designs meet specifications.
  • Investigate alternatives and new technologies and present findings for architectural review to support continuous improvement.
  • Improve system performance, optimize queries, and troubleshoot production issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to translate user requirements into technical solutions and deliver reliable releases.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software development experience using Java SE.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and experience working with Spring and Maven.
  • Experience with relational databases in production (MySQL, AuroraDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and query performance optimization.
  • Experience with non-relational databases in production (Redis, DynamoDB, MongoDB).
  • Experience with cloud providers such as AWS (preferred) or GCP.
  • Familiarity with other language ecosystems is a plus (examples: Node/Express, GoLang/Gin).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
  • Experience with platform tools such as Kubernetes and Docker is a plus.
  • Written and spoken English.
  • Ability to quickly master new technologies, work independently, and collaborate effectively as a team player.
