Description

  • Shape marketing positioning and segmentation for key music-industry audiences, including supervisors, labels, publishers, managers, promo teams, and artists.
  • Coach, develop, and set performance standards for a small marketing team in a player-coach leadership role.
  • Lead and execute marketing programs that drive SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise growth, including enterprise campaigns.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with DISCO’s broader business objectives, with emphasis on demand generation.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations to improve conversion performance and share insights with Customer Success, Sales, and Executive teams.
  • Work closely with Sales and Customer Success to translate customer language into positioning, copy, and campaigns.
  • Partner with Product to understand the product and communicate DISCO’s value to different segments to support activation, usage, and retention.
  • Build and own attribution and measurement frameworks to provide visibility into pipeline and retention performance.
  • Oversee content creation, brand management, event marketing, partnership marketing, and community/ambassador initiatives.
  • Manage external marketing and PR agencies to ensure communications align with the brand voice and strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the commercial side of the music industry, including labels, publishers, distributors, sync agencies, and rights holders.
  • 7+ years of marketing leadership experience with significant B2B SaaS experience.
  • Demonstrated technical experience leading and implementing martech.
  • Familiarity with ABM tools and enterprise go-to-market motions, including multi-stakeholder buying cycles.
  • Proven experience driving customer acquisition, retention, and expansion.
  • Track record of developing and executing successful B2B marketing strategies.
  • Experience with marketing automation, CRM tools, and digital marketing platforms.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
