Description

  • Plan and execute Chainguard’s presence at third-party conferences, sponsored events, and owned experiences from start to finish.
  • Manage event budgets, timelines, logistics, and swag to keep programs on track and on budget.
  • Coordinate pre-event outreach, meeting scheduling, and post-event follow-up with sales and SDR teams.
  • Track event performance against pipeline and engagement metrics and apply learnings to future planning.
  • Support additional marketing programs such as swag management and internal events as needed.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, venues, and partners in the developer and security ecosystem.
  • Work closely with the Director of Events and Senior Event Manager to bring event programs to life.

Requirements

  • 3–4 years of experience in event marketing, demand generation, or a related function at a tech company.
  • Familiarity with the developer tools, open source, or cloud infrastructure ecosystem.
  • Strong project management skills with experience running multiple events simultaneously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across field marketing, content, sales, and other teams as needed.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to make good decisions without complete information.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time for events and team offsites.
  • Ability to lift and transport event materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience with event management tools such as Splash, Bizzabo, Goldcast, or similar (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce for tracking event ROI and pipeline influence (preferred).
