Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain Laravel backend services and RESTful APIs.
  • Build secure, scalable, maintainable backend functionality and integrations.
  • Deliver features on schedule while addressing technical challenges collaboratively.
  • Integrate solutions with AWS, external platforms, and other systems.
  • Contribute to testing, deployment, CI/CD, DevOps, security, and performance practices.
  • Collaborate with frontend, mobile, QA, and non-technical stakeholders on end-to-end delivery.
  • Participate in planning, estimations, code reviews, retrospectives, and process improvements.
  • Create API and technical documentation, support production systems, and share knowledge.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of backend development experience with Laravel or similar PHP frameworks.
  • Experience building backend services, workers, scheduled processes, and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience extending existing production codebases and writing clean, testable code.
  • Working knowledge of AWS; GCP exposure is advantageous.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps principles, relational databases, and backend architecture.
  • Understanding of secure coding and API security practices.
  • Experience with code reviews and collaborative development; Agile experience is advantageous.
  • Strong communication, organization, ownership, accountability, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Proactive, curious, collaborative, feedback-oriented, and interested in AI-assisted development tools.
  • POS system integration experience is beneficial.
