Description

  • Reverse engineer existing workflows and automations and recommend implementation options.
  • Design and build new automations across the full automation stack, including system integrations and workflow logic.
  • Build reusable automation components, recipes, integration patterns, and internal playbooks.
  • Produce client-ready workflow diagrams, SOPs, and handover notes for operational support.
  • Own automation delivery outcomes end-to-end, including build, testing, documentation, deployment, and handover.
  • Gather requirements, document processes, validate workflows, and clarify outcomes in a business analyst style.
  • Communicate workflows clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work within Agile/Kanban environments and maintain visibility through tools such as Jira or similar systems.
  • Support medium-to-enterprise client engagements, including lift-and-shift and integration-focused workstreams.
  • Provide asynchronous delivery updates, Loom walkthroughs, and clear written communication to minimize meetings.

Requirements

  • Mid-to-senior level experience in automation engineering and/or system integrations.
  • Strong experience with Wakadoo, or deep experience with NA10 if Wakadoo is not available.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing automation workflows across multiple systems.
  • Experience working with SaaS applications and integrating multiple platforms through APIs, middleware, and data flows.
  • Familiarity with environments that may include React or React Native front-end landscapes.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure such as Azure and/or AWS.
  • Exposure to platforms such as Vercel and Supabase.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Atlassian Suite, or equivalent Kanban/Scrum workflow management tools.
  • Experience supporting eCommerce and logistics-heavy environments is highly favourable.
  • Exposure to Shopify and/or BigCommerce is advantageous.
  • Wakadoo certification is highly regarded, where applicable.
  • Any relevant automation or integration certifications or training credentials are preferred.
  • Candidates should be willing to provide uploaded copies of certification evidence where applicable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and operate autonomously in client environments.
