Description

  • Design, implement, test, deliver, and maintain Develocity features.
  • Own ambiguous initiatives from discovery through production and measurable customer impact.
  • Identify scope and delivery risks early and drive mitigation plans.
  • Write discoveries and specifications that align input from multiple teams into coherent plans.
  • Set engineering standards through code, reviews, and effective AI usage.
  • Dogfood shipped functionality and strengthen adoption across teams.
  • Work directly with customers on product discovery and rollouts.
  • Participate in Develocity releases with the broader engineering team.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated effective use of AI to ship quality software at high velocity.
  • In-depth experience with Java or another JVM language; the codebase is primarily Java.
  • Experience leading complex features end-to-end across multiple teams.
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, self-managing, and highly organized.
  • Experience building systems where AI agents are primary consumers preferred.
  • Experience developing developer tools preferred.
  • Experience automating software build and delivery processes preferred.
  • Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes preferred.
  • Experience designing and scaling fault-tolerant, highly available distributed systems preferred.
