Description

  • Self-generate qualified pipeline to support consistent progress toward monthly quota attainment.
  • Conduct thorough discovery calls using SPIN or a similar sales methodology.
  • Use MEDDPICC or a similar qualification framework to forecast accurately and identify risk early.
  • Negotiate pricing, packaging, and contract terms to close timely and mutually beneficial deals.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders to complete legal, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain a disciplined sales cadence and measurable top-of-funnel activity.
  • Run weekly pipeline reviews and keep Salesforce as the source of truth for forecasting and coverage.
  • Participate in Deal Desk and pre-call planning meetings for new logo and expansion opportunities.
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure a smooth transition from pre-sale to post-sale.
  • Support customer referrals and expansion by delivering value and consistent communication.

Requirements

  • Must reside in, or have experience selling into, the Chicago, IL area or the North Central territory.
  • Domain knowledge of cybersecurity and data privacy.
  • Prior training and working knowledge of information security concepts, compliance standards, and regulatory practices.
  • 3+ years of experience selling to CISOs, CIOs, or other senior information security stakeholders.
  • Mastery of at least one widely accepted sales methodology and deal qualification system.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Highly competitive, adaptable, and coachable.
  • Comfortable working in an early-stage, fast-growth environment.
  • Self-driven with a strong learning orientation and growth mindset.
