Description

  • Prospect into Federal Government organizations and run an efficient end-to-end sales process
  • Maintain, build, and own relationship maps for your territory, including existing and aspirational contacts
  • Develop a deep understanding of customers' businesses to identify and articulate value drivers
  • Negotiate pricing and business terms with federal enterprise customers by selling value and ROI
  • Manage existing customer expectations while expanding reach and depth across assigned accounts
  • Generate and own pipeline by proactively prospecting and qualifying opportunities
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness to resolve complex challenges and remove obstacles to closing
  • Drive consistent and accurate forecasting of pipeline and sales outcomes
  • Execute the necessary steps to close business and secure customer validation

Requirements

  • 5+ years of closing experience, with a mix of field selling in mid-market or enterprise
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding direct sales goals of $800k+ and operating with average deal sizes of $50k+
  • Proven ability to prospect and build pipeline independently using a repeatable methodology
  • Experience selling for an innovative tech company (SaaS, IT infrastructure, or similar preferred)
  • Experience selling into Federal Government organizations with a demonstrated ability to win new logos
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly to client sites within your area and to other regions (car, train, air)
  • Ability to negotiate business terms and sell on ROI while ensuring high forecasting accuracy
