Description

  • Partner with Account Executives across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and APAC on discovery calls, product demonstrations, and technical support throughout the sales cycle.
  • Deliver tailored Flow Simulation demonstrations that address prospect pain points across process industries and other target verticals.
  • Build and maintain demonstration environments, use cases, and proof-of-concept scenarios for active markets and geographies.
  • Support RFP and RFI responses and technical proposals in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Enable regional and global partners through Flow Simulation training, enablement sessions, and joint demonstrations.
  • Create partner-facing materials such as lunch-and-learns, webinars, and demo scripts.
  • Act as a technical resource for channel partners engaging customers in any territory.
  • Represent Datacor at trade shows and industry conferences across the region.
  • Contribute to webinars, marketing demos, and demand generation content.
  • Provide product feedback on feature gaps, competitive observations, and customer requests to Product and Marketing.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Solution Engineering, Sales Engineering, or technical pre-sales at an engineering software, simulation, or process technology company.
  • Experience delivering software demonstrations to both technical and business audiences, including engineers, plant managers, and project teams.
  • Strong discovery skills with the ability to uncover pain, map it to value, and handle technical objections.
  • A degree in mechanical engineering with hands-on piping experience such as piping system design, hydraulic analysis, or plant and pipeline engineering.
  • Familiarity with pipe flow simulation and fluid dynamics software.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent engagements across countries, cultures, and time zones.
  • Willingness to travel more than 60% across EMEA and APAC.
  • Must be based in Europe or the Middle East and have the right to work in that location.
  • Strongly preferred: experience with Datacor Flow Simulation products including Fathom, Arrow, Impulse, and xStream.
  • Preferred: additional background in chemical or process engineering, experience in mining/oil and gas/utilities/specialty chemicals, familiarity with GoldSim or CHEMCAD, channel partner experience, German or French language skills, Arabic for Middle East coverage, and CRM/webinar/demo platform proficiency such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
