Description

  • Support sales teams in positioning Litify’s time, billing, and accounting capabilities.
  • Conduct discovery sessions to understand prospects’ billing workflows, fee arrangements, and financial operations.
  • Build and deliver tailored demonstrations using Litify and Accounting Seed.
  • Own, maintain, and standardize the billing and accounting demo as the product evolves.
  • Demonstrate the full billing cycle, including time entry, pre-bill review, invoicing, payments, collections, and trust accounting.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on law firm billing and enable other Solution Engineers.
  • Partner with Product teams to share customer feedback and influence billing capabilities and roadmap priorities.
  • Configure custom demonstrations and enhance standard demos for internal use.
  • Prepare effective billing and accounting responses for RFPs.
  • Travel domestically approximately once per month, including for industry events.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in a law firm billing department, finance team, or firm operations role.
  • Hands-on experience managing a complete bill cycle from time entry and pre-bill review through invoicing, payments, and collections.
  • Working knowledge of hourly, flat-fee, contingency, and retainer billing arrangements, plus trust/IOLTA accounting.
  • Familiarity with rates, write-downs, realization, LEDES/e-billing, and client billing guidelines.
  • Alternatively, experience as a Solution or Sales Engineer for a law firm billing product.
  • Strong oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate on business and technical problems in varied environments.
  • Experience with legal billing or practice management systems such as Aderant, Elite, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Previous solution engineering, implementation consulting, or customer-facing experience at a legal technology or financial software company preferred.
  • Salesforce, Accounting Seed, or another Salesforce-native accounting application experience preferred.

Benefits

  • Estimated base salary of $105,000–$130,000.
