Description

  • Build successful relationships with clients in the assigned territory to deliver technical and business value alongside an Account Executive and Senior Solutions Architect.
  • Lead hands-on evaluations and Spark programming discussions to generate customer interest in Databricks.
  • Integrate Databricks solutions with the broader cloud ecosystem and third-party applications.
  • Contribute to the Databricks technical community through workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
  • Advise customers on architecture and design for big data analytics use cases.
  • Author reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications to support customers.
  • Develop technical and pre-sales expertise with the goal of becoming an independently operating Solutions Architect.
  • Identify customer pain points and align technical propositions to business value.

Requirements

  • Familiarity working with clients, creating a narrative, answering customer questions, and achieving tangible outcomes.
  • Ability to independently deliver a technical proposition and develop trusted-advisor skills.
  • Coding ability in a core programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Knowledge of a core big data analytics domain.
  • Exposure to advanced proofs-of-concept.
  • Understanding of a major public cloud platform.
  • Experience in solution architecture and design.
  • Experience collaborating in a pre-sales or customer-facing environment.
  • Nice to have: ability to deepen expertise toward an independent Solutions Architect role.
