Description

  • Hire and manage a team of technical pre-sales Solutions Architects focused on Lakebase.
  • Build a collaborative, customer-obsessed, team-first culture within a rapid-growth organization.
  • Support Lakebase business growth by enabling the Solutions Architect team to drive technical adoption and consumption.
  • Increase the return on investment of Solutions Architect involvement in sales cycles.
  • Build trust-based, long-term relationships with enterprise customers and stakeholders.
  • Partner with direct account teams across verticalized business units to engage clients jointly.
  • Represent Lakebase across the market in partnership with Marketing, Product, and Sales teams.
  • Translate customer feedback, technical requirements, and competitive insights into field readiness and product evolution.
  • Guide team effectiveness and establish processes that improve efficiency and execution.
  • Report on market and account trends that influence strategic direction and revenue potential.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of first-line or second-line leadership experience managing teams of 7+ people as a first-line leader or 20+ people as a second-line leader.
  • Experience leading pre-sales teams in high-growth enterprise software environments.
  • Senior-level experience at a reputable software company with transactional (OLTP) database technology experience, ideally including data warehousing, cloud infrastructure, data platforms, or AI solutions.
  • Track record of driving executive engagement, large consumption, and high-growth customers.
  • Proven ability to influence, develop, and empower teams to achieve objectives.
  • Demonstrated success delivering transformational customer value.
  • Experience building strategic customer relationships and cross-functional partnerships across Sales, Engineering, Product, and Marketing.
  • Experience managing complex strategic accounts generating $1M+ ARR.
  • Knowledge of data-driven decision-making, AI, cloud software models, operational data systems, and modern database architectures.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $218,400 to $300,300 USD, depending on location and experience.
