Description

  • Develop customer engagement strategies in partnership with Account Executive(s) in a designated territory.
  • Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use case prioritization and building technical champions.
  • Influence stakeholders at all levels through complex engagements across the cloud ecosystem and third-party applications.
  • Serve as an expert solution architect and trusted advisor for data analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
  • Develop customer-facing collateral and lead workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
  • Work with a collaborative, customer-focused team to create customized solutions that help customers achieve their goals.
  • Support technical community engagement and help represent Databricks in customer and external forums.
  • Contribute to one of the role’s development tracks, including technical specialization, industry thought leadership, strategic customer vision, or people management.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of customer-facing technical experience.
  • Experience engaging in complex customer interactions and the sales lifecycle in a technical pre-sales capacity.
  • Ability to influence decision-makers and C-level executives by building relationships and coordinating teams.
  • Prior coding experience in a core programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Willingness to learn a basic level of Spark.
  • Hands-on expertise with complex proofs-of-concept and public cloud platforms.
  • Ability to provide technical solutions for specialized customer needs and navigate a competitive landscape.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% when needed.
  • Experience with technical specialization, industry vertical thought leadership, strategic customer vision, or people management is a potential development path.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $180,000 to $247,500 USD for all listed pay zones.
  • Eligibility for an annual performance bonus.
