Description

  • Lead the strategic direction and operations for the assigned US region.
  • Develop and execute a cohesive regional go-to-market and launch strategy for apitegromab.
  • Adapt business plans and present regional performance reviews with senior leadership.
  • Analyze regional market trends, customer insights, and competitive dynamics to refine strategy.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with medical affairs, patient services, distribution, business operations, market access, compliance, legal, patient advocacy, and other teams.
  • Lead customer-facing efforts to build relationships with healthcare providers, KOLs, HCPs, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage key accounts and address stakeholder issues to support regional performance.
  • Navigate the US access environment and ensure optimal patient access through patient services and support.
  • Oversee regional financial plans, budget management, resource allocation, and revenue performance.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop regional team members while fostering aligned execution across functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical or biotech roles required.
  • Rare disease experience required.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, market access, patient services, clinical specialty, or medical functions strongly preferred.
  • Sales leadership experience with exposure to other critical functions in pharma or biotech preferred.
  • Leadership of functions beyond sales preferred.
  • Exceptional leadership ability to motivate teams, set clear goals, and deliver performance.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder relationship management.
  • Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and ability to develop and execute operational plans.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, especially rare disease, the US market, and market access/payer dynamics.
  • Experience navigating complex regulatory and compliance environments.
  • Innovative mindset with the ability to drive transformation while delivering results.
