Description

  • Co-develop account business plans with internal teams and ecosystem partners to meet quarterly and annual consumption and booking goals.
  • Lead customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to identify high-impact big data and AI use cases and demonstrate their value on the Databricks platform.
  • Drive customer transformation goals through strategic partnerships, professional services, training, and executive engagement.
  • Develop a strong understanding of technical product details and roadmap to build trust with executive and technical stakeholders.
  • Grow and deepen engagement with strategic Utilities and Energy accounts across the Italy region.
  • Work with cloud vendors and global system integrators to co-sell and scale account strategies.
  • Build effective champions and collaborative partnerships to support account and territory execution.
  • Identify key use cases and buying centers within opportunities to increase Databricks’ impact in the organization.
  • Use structured sales methodologies and forecasting practices to manage the sales process.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience selling SaaS solutions to enterprise customers.
  • Experience working in big data, cloud, or SaaS industries, with some technical sales experience.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas in high-growth enterprise software companies.
  • Experience driving consumption and commit-based engagement models, working with professional services and training teams.
  • Experience co-selling and scaling business with cloud vendors such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, and with global system integrators (GSI).
  • Experience building champions, collaborative teams, and partnerships to execute account or territory plans.
  • Ability to identify key use cases and buying centers in an opportunity.
  • Experience using sales methodologies such as account planning, MEDDPICC, value selling, and accurate forecasting.
  • Fluent Italian and business English.
  • Experience with strategic enterprise accounts in Utilities or Energy (implied by the role focus).
