Description

  • Develop and present a territory plan within the first 90 days.
  • Meet with CIOs, IT executives, LOB executives, program managers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Close new accounts while expanding and retaining existing accounts.
  • Identify and close quick wins while managing longer and more complex sales cycles.
  • Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets.
  • Track customer details, use cases, purchase timelines, next steps, and forecasts in Salesforce.
  • Use a solution-based selling approach to create value for customers.
  • Promote Databricks' enterprise cloud data platform powered by Apache Spark.
  • Prioritize opportunities and allocate the appropriate internal and external resources.
  • Build and execute a plan for success internally at Databricks and with customer accounts.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of enterprise sales experience exceeding quotas in relevant accounts and industries.
  • Field sales experience in big data, cloud, and SaaS sales.
  • Experience selling to Oil, Gas, and Energy enterprise accounts.
  • Prior customer relationships with CIOs, program managers, and other key decision makers.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex cloud technologies.
  • Experience working in an early-stage company and navigating that environment successfully.
  • Success closing new accounts while managing existing accounts.
  • Understanding of Spark and big data preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree.
