Description

  • Own a territory and drive acquisition of new enterprise accounts.
  • Build and grow pipeline through new-logo prospecting and targeted outreach.
  • Navigate complex organizations and sell to multiple decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Identify customer needs and configure the right offering from New Relic’s portfolio.
  • Partner with marketing, Solutions Consultants, and Sales Development Representatives to generate and close opportunities.
  • Use the sales process to close large-scale, multi-year consumption-based deals.
  • Prepare accurate forecasts, document activities in Salesforce, and communicate progress to sales management.
  • Research target accounts and market triggers such as FDA approvals, executive changes, and press releases.
  • Work closely with customers throughout the sales process to support positive business outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience.
  • Field sales experience selling software to Fortune 1000 companies.
  • Proven success in enterprise sales over an extended period.
  • Experience in consultative enterprise solutions selling.
  • Strong hunter mindset with creative prospecting and deal acquisition skills.
  • High energy, strong business sense, and exceptional ambition.
  • Excellent teaming and collaboration skills.
  • Previous experience selling observability solutions is preferred.
  • Technical background is preferred.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
