Description

  • Own two strategic enterprise accounts in Germany’s renewable energy sector and develop the account strategy.
  • Build and deepen senior-level and C-level relationships across customer organizations.
  • Lead high-impact commercial opportunities from qualification through close.
  • Drive new business creation by expanding strategic use cases and platform adoption.
  • Mobilize Databricks internal resources and ecosystem partners to deliver customer value.
  • Lead complex, insight-led negotiations for multi-year enterprise deals.
  • Work with virtual teams, professional services, training, cloud vendors, and global system integrators to grow accounts.
  • Develop and co-create business cases with customer stakeholders and secure executive buy-in.
  • Manage usage and commit-based engagement models to support customer expansion.
  • Travel onsite with customers as needed, up to 40% of the time.

Requirements

  • Experience developing strong relationships with large enterprise accounts.
  • Experience managing virtual teams and leading complex sales campaigns.
  • Experience selling Big Data, Data & AI/Analytics, or complex cloud technology solutions into large accounts.
  • Proven record of exceeding sales quotas in high-growth enterprise software companies.
  • Experience or strong understanding of the energy vertical is advantageous.
  • Experience driving usage and commit-based engagement models with professional services and training teams.
  • Experience co-selling with cloud vendors such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, and with Global Solution Integrators.
  • Experience co-developing business cases and gaining support from C-level executives.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as value-based selling, MEDDPIC, and Challenger sales.
  • Fluency in German and English is essential.
