Description

  • Own the assigned territory and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing.
  • Build and maintain a healthy 12-month pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Drive complex 6–12 month SaaS sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Develop relationships and collaborate with Business Development, Marketing, Professional Services, Finance, Engineering, Channel Partners, and other teams.
  • Lead the RFP process, prepare written presentations, reports, and price quotations, and participate in contract negotiations.
  • Continuously strengthen product knowledge, selling skills, and awareness of industry trends.
  • Use Salesforce to track activities, manage pipeline, and report accurately.
  • Represent D2L at sales meetings, product seminars, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Travel as needed, approximately 10–20% of the time.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of successful SaaS or complex solution sales experience, preferably in EdTech, HR software, HCM, or eLearning.
  • Experience selling complex software solutions to Associations and Training Organizations.
  • Proven success in prospecting, building pipeline, and advancing opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Ability to manage a pipeline of 50+ accounts and consistently achieve assigned quotas.
  • Deep understanding of mid-market sales cycles and experience selling to C-level decision-makers.
  • Familiarity with MEDDPICC or a similar sales methodology.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and other sales tools.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and using AI to support business goals.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time and ability to travel freely between the US and Canada or other countries with a valid passport.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in a technical, business, or education-related field.
