Description

  • Manage complex sales cycles and present to C-level executives.
  • Close net-new and existing accounts.
  • Identify and win quick, small deals while progressing longer, more complex opportunities.
  • Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets.
  • Track customer details, timelines, next steps, and forecasts in Salesforce.
  • Use a solution-based selling approach to create value for customers.
  • Promote Databricks’ enterprise cloud data platform powered by Apache Spark™.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction across assigned accounts.
  • Prioritize opportunities and allocate resources effectively.
  • Build and execute success plans internally at Databricks and externally with customer accounts.

Requirements

  • 1-3+ years of field sales experience selling to SLED accounts.
  • Experience working in an early-stage company and navigating that environment successfully.
  • Background in big data, cloud, or SaaS sales is preferred.
  • Strong track record of delivering business value to customers.
  • Passion for cloud technologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Ability to sell to State and Local Government accounts in a dedicated territory.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and engaging C-level executives.
  • Experience using Salesforce for forecasting and customer tracking.
  • Location flexibility, as candidates outside the listed locations will be considered.
