Description

  • Present a territory plan within the first 90 days.
  • Build relationships with CIOs, IT executives, LOB executives, program managers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Close new accounts and expand existing accounts.
  • Identify and close quick wins while managing longer, complex sales cycles.
  • Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets.
  • Track customer details, use cases, timelines, next steps, and forecasts in Salesforce.
  • Use a solution-based approach to sell and create customer value.
  • Promote Databricks' enterprise cloud data platform powered by Apache Spark.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction across the assigned account base.
  • Prioritize opportunities and allocate resources appropriately.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of enterprise sales experience exceeding quotas in relevant accounts and industries.
  • Field sales experience in big data and cloud.
  • Experience selling to CIOs, program managers, and other key decision makers.
  • Ability to clearly explain complex cloud technologies.
  • Success closing both new and existing accounts.
  • Understanding of Spark and big data is preferred.
