Description

  • Direct all people functions of the corporation in alignment with company policies, practices, and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Manage daily HR oversight, operations, and support across the organization.
  • Handle complex employee relations issues, including investigations, performance management guidance, and disciplinary actions.
  • Maintain knowledge of employment law requirements and partner with legal counsel as needed to reduce risk and ensure compliance.
  • Review, update, and deliver management training programs to improve engagement, learning, and retention.
  • Evaluate compensation and benefits programs and recommend improvements to attract, motivate, and retain employees.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, including onboarding, new hire touchpoints, remote engagement, and career growth planning.
  • Oversee HR team members’ productivity, performance, quality of work, PTO, and overtime requests.
  • Report on staffing objectives, staffing status, and hiring success, and work with managers to ensure timely resource support.
  • Assist with special HR projects and additional duties based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP strongly preferred.
  • Experience as a human resources leader or executive with appropriate industry experience.
  • High ethical standards and a professional image.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex human resource documents.
  • Excellent communication skills for responding to sensitive inquiries or complaints at all levels.
  • Well organized, self-directed, and decisive.
  • Ability to perform duties that may involve lifting, bending, traveling, extended sitting, and computer work.
  • Ability to supply and support your own internet service and maintain uninterrupted internet access for a work-from-home position.
