Description

  • Promote D2L products and services to prospective customers.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships across assigned territory accounts.
  • Generate sales opportunities through outbound calling campaigns.
  • Capture and qualify leads from trade shows, webinars, inbound calls, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Follow up with existing contacts and develop them into sales prospects.
  • Distribute leads and schedule qualified appointments for Sales Executives.
  • Create and update lead-generation emails and phone scripts.
  • Maintain customer interaction records in the CRM tool.
  • Prepare sales reports and present findings to executive management.
  • Conduct market research and stay current on product, competitor, and industry knowledge.
  • Represent D2L at occasional trade shows and travel as needed.

Requirements

  • 1-2+ years of experience in a Sales Development role.
  • Interest in pursuing a sales career in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Proactive, goal-oriented approach with the ability to maintain consistent customer activity and meet quarterly objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and organize and prioritize work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer orientation skills with the ability to influence decision makers.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Previous experience in eLearning, education, enterprise software, or high-tech solutions providers is preferred.
  • Degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field is recommended.
