Description

  • Drive new business in New Zealand through a mix of outbound prospecting and inbound lead handling.
  • Identify, target, and win new NZ business customers through cold outreach.
  • Qualify, consult with, and convert warm inbound opportunities.
  • Run the full sales cycle end to end, from discovery through proposal and close.
  • Build and maintain a strong NZ sales pipeline with accurate CRM activity.
  • Partner with the recruitment team to ensure seamless client handover and strong delivery outcomes.
  • Represent Pear Tree’s transparent and ethical recruitment model in client conversations.
  • Report directly to the two owners.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience.
  • Proven ability to generate new business through cold outreach and resilience to rejection.
  • Strong consultative selling skills, including discovery, value-led selling, and objection handling.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and own a market.
  • Existing connections with NZ businesses that may benefit from remote or global hiring, preferred.
  • Experience selling services, solutions, or subscription-style offerings, preferred.
  • Knowledge of hiring, recruitment, HR, or talent, preferred.
  • Based in New Zealand; ideally Auckland-based.
  • Available to work fully remote Monday to Friday during NZ working hours.
