Description

  • Prospect for and book self-sourced meetings with new enterprise clients.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of net-new staffing opportunities without relying on inbound leads.
  • Close new-logo deals for AI/ML, data engineering, senior architecture, security, and platform roles.
  • Direct the offshore team on list-building, research, LinkedIn outreach, cold email, and job-board or requisition monitoring.
  • Scope nearshore implementation hours into Production-tier AI or consulting deals when relevant.
  • Own discovery, role definition, pricing, negotiation, and close for opportunities end to end.
  • Collaborate with recruiters to shape role requirements and deliver the talent answer to clients.
  • Maintain clean scope of work documentation, acceptance criteria, and change-order discipline.
  • Address objections about AI replacing developers and position the roles Perform sells.
  • Evaluate deal fit and either propose role conversion or walk away from low-value staffing requests.

Requirements

  • Experience building pipeline from scratch through cold outreach and self-sourced meetings.
  • Prior experience selling staffing or staff augmentation services.
  • Comfort discussing technical hiring needs such as AI/ML pipelines, data infrastructure, and platform engineering with senior technical buyers.
  • Ability to understand bill rates, margins, and contractor placement economics.
  • Demonstrated hunter mentality and comfort owning prospecting end to end.
  • Comfort working in a small-team environment with minimal hand-holding.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings as needed.
  • Flexibility on years of experience if the candidate has the right track record.
  • Preference for candidates who can sell outcome-based work rather than seat-based staffing.
  • Ability to recognize and walk away from poor-fit deals rather than discount into commodity staffing.
