Description

  • Lead the strategy and daily operations for US-based electronic payment methods within Accounts Receivable.
  • Make operational decisions for payment portals to improve accuracy, cost efficiency, and customer payment experience.
  • Drive adoption of autopay, hosted pay pages, and invoice payment links to reduce payment friction.
  • Oversee decline recovery and chargeback resolution to meet targeted KPIs.
  • Manage processing, monitoring, and reconciliation of electronic payments across vendor portals and internal platforms.
  • Serve as the primary operational liaison for payment vendors and banking partners.
  • Coordinate issue resolution, QA, testing, and support for payment processing changes and enhancements.
  • Partner with Cash Applications, Collections, Billing, IT, and Support to resolve systemic issues and improve the payment journey.
  • Assess current processes and lead redesign efforts to improve efficiency and controls.
  • Build reporting tools and dashboards to track payment performance, trends, settlement activity, and risks.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team responsible for electronic payment workflows and operational performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in electronic payments, accounts receivable operations, or financial operations within a US-based environment.
  • 2+ years of people management or team leadership experience.
  • Hands-on experience with vendor portals such as Ariba, Coupa, and Bill.com, or payment systems such as Stripe, Visa, Zuora, and ACH platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong working knowledge of data reporting tools such as Looker or Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive workflows with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Preferred experience with chargeback management, payment declines, settlement processes, and reconciliation.
  • Preferred knowledge of US financial regulatory rules, including card network regulations and NACHA rules.
  • Preferred experience in a subscription-based or recurring revenue environment.
  • Preferred familiarity with cash positioning or cash forecasting in a corporate setting.
