Description

  • Lead the design and activation of FP&A and close and consolidation operating models, including organizational structures, RACI, governance, calendars, and performance metrics.
  • Own end-to-end process design and implementation across budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, reporting, close, consolidation, intercompany, and statutory reporting.
  • Facilitate client workshops, align stakeholders, and develop target operating models, strategic blueprints, and transformation roadmaps.
  • Provide hands-on FP&A surge and interim support, translating observations into improvement recommendations.
  • Optimize finance processes through cycle-time reduction, handoff elimination, control simplification, and automation.
  • Guide EPM platform evaluations and selection, including requirements, RFPs, vendor demonstrations, scoring, and cost recommendations.
  • Lead EPM implementation enablement across project management, requirements, design, testing, data conversion, and reconciliation.
  • Own change management, communications, training, adoption, and post-launch hypercare.
  • Collaborate with data, analytics, and other CrossCountry solution teams on integrations, master data, reporting, recruiting, proposals, and AI initiatives.
  • Represent CrossCountry at industry conferences and within EPM partner ecosystems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, financial close and consolidation, finance transformation, or EPM advisory, including 5+ years in client-serving consulting.
  • Experience leading end-to-end FP&A or close and consolidation transformations in complex, multi-entity, multi-currency, multi-ERP, PE-backed, or SEC-reporting environments.
  • Hands-on EPM lifecycle experience with at least one leading platform; OneStream is strongly preferred, with Anaplan, Planful, Oracle EPM/Hyperion/FCCS, Workday Adaptive, Pigment, or Cube also relevant.
  • Strong knowledge of driver-based planning, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, scenario modeling, profitability and cost allocation, reporting, and KPI design.
  • Working knowledge of consolidation mechanics, intercompany eliminations, ownership structures, currency translation, top-side adjustments, and GAAP/non-GAAP bridges.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Professional services experience is strongly preferred; in-house FP&A or controllership experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Kaizen, Human-Centered Design, or structured workshops is preferred.
  • CPA, CFA, AFP Certified Corporate FP&A Professional, OneStream, PMP, or Prosci certification is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 45% based on client needs; familiarity with ERP and analytics tools, PE-backed companies, carve-outs, IPO readiness, or post-merger integration is a plus.
