Description

  • Identify measurable customer value across cost efficiency, revenue growth or protection, sustainability, and risk reduction.
  • Build and maintain financial models covering cash flow, P&L, ROI, TCO, NPV, IRR, and payback.
  • Standardize model inputs, outputs, methodologies, and accounting treatments across products and accounts.
  • Translate model results into clear financial narratives for customers, CFOs, sellers, and finance teams.
  • Own and govern assumptions, benchmarks, pricing inputs, data sources, refresh schedules, and version history.
  • Reconcile model outputs against live deals and continuously improve model accuracy as products and data evolve.
  • Document model logic, inputs, outputs, and reference cases for integration into automated systems.
  • Support Value Consultants, sellers, and sales engineers on complex deals and pricing discussions.
  • Collaborate with competitive intelligence, analytics, product, finance, sales, engineering, and platform teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, corporate finance, investment analysis, value engineering, or management consulting.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills covering cash flow, P&L, accounting, CapEx versus OpEx, depreciation, and subscription models.
  • Deep knowledge of ROI and TCO, with practical experience using IRR, NPV, and payback for business cases.
  • Ability to convert complex technical and commercial information into clear, defensible financial logic.
  • Strong discipline around assumptions, data quality, governance, and version control.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting financial narratives to non-finance audiences.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with sales, product, monetization, and platform teams.
  • Self-managed, responsive, curious, and creative in developing sound approaches to quantifying value.
  • Professional accounting or finance qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CFA, or a finance-focused master’s degree preferred.
  • Pre-sales or commercial finance experience at a technology vendor and knowledge of enterprise technology or IT infrastructure preferred.
