Description

  • Design and activate FP&A, close, and consolidation operating models, including organizational structures, governance, calendars, and performance metrics.
  • Own end-to-end process design and implementation across budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, reporting, close, consolidation, intercompany, and statutory reporting.
  • Lead client workshops, assessments, future-state design, strategic blueprints, target operating models, and transformation roadmaps.
  • Provide hands-on FP&A support and identify process, operating model, and performance improvement opportunities.
  • Guide EPM platform evaluations and implementations, including requirements, vendor selection, project management, testing, data conversion, and reconciliation.
  • Lead change management, communications, training, adoption, and post-implementation support.
  • Support business development through opportunity identification, scoping, pricing, proposals, statements of work, presentations, and closing activities.
  • Build client relationships, develop practice methodologies and assets, and represent the firm through thought leadership and industry events.
  • Lead concurrent delivery teams, ensuring quality, margins, client experience, coaching, performance management, and recruiting.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of experience in FP&A, financial close and consolidation, finance transformation, or EPM advisory, including 5+ years in client-serving consulting.
  • Experience leading end-to-end FP&A and/or close and consolidation transformations in complex organizations.
  • Hands-on EPM lifecycle experience with at least one leading platform; OneStream strongly preferred, with Anaplan, Planful, Oracle EPM/Hyperion/FCCS, Workday Adaptive, Pigment, or Cube also relevant.
  • Strong knowledge of driver-based planning, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, scenario modeling, profitability and cost allocation, management reporting, and KPI design.
  • Working knowledge of consolidation mechanics, intercompany eliminations, entity structures, currency translation, top-side adjustments, and GAAP/non-GAAP bridges.
  • Demonstrated business development experience sourcing, shaping, and closing consulting work.
  • Experience leading and developing multi-level delivery teams, with strong executive presence and decision-oriented communication.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Professional services experience is strongly preferred; in-house FP&A or controllership experience is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 45%; preferred credentials include CPA, CFA, AFP Certified Corporate FP&A Professional, OneStream, PMP, or Prosci certifications.
