Description

  • Act as a trusted strategic and technical advisor to customers throughout the Customer Success lifecycle from onboarding to expansion.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and senior management to support enablement, adoption, and value plans.
  • Drive customer adoption, realized value, and identification of new Cribl opportunities.
  • Recommend use cases, troubleshoot issues, and encourage certification and training to support customer success.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer by collaborating cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, experience, and engineering teams.
  • Track customer metrics and account information in the Customer Success Platform to monitor health, success, and distress signals.
  • Mentor and coach team members within the Customer Experience organization.
  • Engage with both technical and management audiences, including executive business discussions.
  • Work occasionally outside standard hours to support a remote-first, multi-time-zone customer base.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related post-sales customer advocacy or engagement role.
  • Strong customer-first mindset with excellent communication, relationship management, empathy, and listening skills.
  • Experience working with large, complex enterprise customers in a high-growth environment.
  • Engineering background or proven experience as an engineer working with enterprise customers.
  • Experience with Observability, Logs, Metrics, IT Operations, and Security, including managing data pipelines across the data lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to develop new use cases that reduce, reuse, enrich, and route data to drive customer outcomes.
  • Quick learner with strong engineering and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15%-20%.
  • Must live in Chicago or St. Louis.
  • Preferred: experience with data engineering or analytics platforms such as Splunk, Elastic, Datadog, or Snowflake.
  • Preferred: working knowledge of customer success platforms such as GainSight or PlanHat.
  • Preferred: working knowledge of major cloud providers including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Preferred: experience working remotely.
  • Preferred: strong sense of humor and enjoyment of customer-facing problem solving.
