Description

  • Manage the post-indication pipeline to increase indication-to-bind conversion rates.
  • Reduce average days to bind by enforcing urgency, timeline discipline, and clear next steps with agents.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for agents after indication and communicate submission requirements and expectations.
  • Educate partners on what constitutes a bind-ready submission to reduce friction and improve deal quality.
  • Validate submission completeness and confirm agent intent before advancing opportunities.
  • Disqualify non-viable or low-quality opportunities early to protect underwriting capacity.
  • Minimize kickback rates caused by missing or incomplete data.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records across indicated, quoted, and pending bind stages.
  • Provide weekly pipeline aging and conversion insights to leadership.
  • Support renewal retention strategies and monitor retention conversion performance.

Requirements

  • Experience in the insurance or MGA sector, specifically in commercial auto, trucking, or logistics.
  • Minimum of 2 years of underwriting experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience in business development, sales operations, or high-volume account management.
  • Proven experience managing and optimizing a HubSpot-driven pipeline, with fleet or high-volume environments strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze conversion data, identify performance trends, and explain drivers of close rates versus underperformance.
  • Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience using HubSpot, Excel, and/or Google Sheets to track KPIs and generate pipeline insights.
  • Assertive and decisive approach to moving deals forward while holding firm on timelines.
  • Strong commercial judgment to know when to push, pause, or disqualify opportunities.
  • High sense of ownership for converting indicated opportunities into bound premium.
  • Process-oriented mindset that uses structure and discipline to accelerate outcomes.
  • Analytical mindset focused on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
