Description

  • Achieve planned goals, patient access objectives, and other performance measures for the assigned geography.
  • Review, analyze, and interpret reports and data to plan and execute territory activities that support quarterly and annual objectives.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the assigned territory, including care delivery, major payers, regulatory environment, industry trends, competition, reimbursement patterns, and state policies.
  • Communicate disease state and product information in a compliant manner aligned with FDA-approved labeling and the REMS program.
  • Prepare for sales calls, uncover customer needs, communicate approved solutions, address concerns, and complete post-call follow-up.
  • Provide physicians and office personnel with access-related information using internally approved materials.
  • Manage and support accounts by ensuring product access and triaging reimbursement issues in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Braeburn partners to support customer and patient needs.
  • Develop ongoing customer dialogue to anticipate changing needs and market opportunities.
  • Exercise fiscal control of operational expenses and maintain integrity and compliance with company policies and the Code of Conduct.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) is required; an advanced business degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of pharmaceutical experience is required.
  • At least 3 years of sales and/or field market access experience in biotech, specialty pharmaceutical, or device industries is required.
  • Experience in Specialty Pharmacy markets with proven sales or field market access performance is required.
  • Strong understanding of reimbursement and insurance coverage for physician-administered treatments is required.
  • Proven product launch experience in a highly complicated and competitive environment is required.
  • Experience selling specialty products, particularly physician-administered implantable or injectable medication technologies, is required.
  • Experience within a complex distribution model including Specialty Pharmacy, Buy & Bill, and direct distribution is required.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing is required.
  • Willingness to travel regionally and nationally, including overnight travel up to 50-70% in some territories, is required.
  • Experience in a start-up environment is a plus.
