Description

  • Maintain accurate employee data and update employee records throughout the employee lifecycle from hire to retire.
  • Support the new hire onboarding process, including follow-ups, employment verifications, and related administrative tasks.
  • Respond to routine employee inquiries and requests, escalating complex issues when needed.
  • Create and maintain personnel files and ensure documentation is filed correctly and kept confidential.
  • Generate basic HR reports as needed to support general HR queries.
  • Assist with data audits to ensure accuracy and consistency across HR systems.
  • Collaborate with the HR team on HR initiatives and projects.
  • Use a case management tool to track, prioritize, and manage requests.
  • Provide administrative support across HR functions such as benefits, compensation, and talent acquisition.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in an HR, administrative, or similar role, or completion of post-secondary schooling in this area.
  • Experience with HRIS or other data management tools is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer service mindset.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including basic Excel functions.
  • Experience with Google Workspace is an asset.
  • Proactive and resourceful problem-solving approach.
  • Desire to learn and grow in HR Operations.
