Description

  • Maintain and refine global salary bands and job architecture to align with market data and internal equity.
  • Conduct compensation benchmarking using survey sources and recommend pay positioning.
  • Support annual merit, promotion, and compensation review cycles, including tooling, input review, and output audits.
  • Partner with People Partners and Talent Acquisition on compensation recommendations for new roles, offers, and promotions.
  • Respond to ad hoc compensation questions from leadership and employees with clear, actionable guidance.
  • Monitor pay equity across the organization and flag patterns that warrant review.
  • Administer equity grants end-to-end, including grant processing, vesting schedules, and termination processing.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the equity platform provider and internal Finance and Legal teams.
  • Maintain equity data integrity by reconciling records between the equity platform and HRIS.
  • Support compensation dashboards, reporting, documentation, headcount planning, and comp modeling.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in compensation, total rewards, or a related analytical function such as finance, HR analytics, or consulting.
  • Solid understanding of broad-based compensation principles, including salary structures, market pricing, job leveling, and pay equity.
  • Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets, including large datasets and structured models.
  • Familiarity with at least one compensation survey methodology such as Radford/Aon, Mercer, or Compdata.
  • Strong attention to detail and a track record of catching errors before they become problems.
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to explain compensation decisions to non-specialists.
  • Ability to handle sensitive compensation and employee data with appropriate confidentiality.
  • Equity administration experience, including grant processing, vesting schedules, and RSU/option mechanics, is a plus.
  • Experience working in a global organization with employees in multiple countries is a plus.
  • Experience with an HRIS such as Workday or Rippling is a plus.
  • Visa sponsorship or immigration support is not available for this position.

Benefits

  • Remote role with occasional travel to Mountain View HQ a few times a year.
  • Base salary range of $113,000-$139,000.
