Description

  • Assist in the preparation, launch, and ongoing management of live online training programs.
  • Manage application setup, client communications, and instructional staff hiring processes.
  • Oversee multiple programs at once, track timelines, and ensure smooth execution.
  • Support admissions activities, including applicant pipeline monitoring, reporting, Q&A sessions, and applicant support.
  • Manage screening, review, and hiring processes for teaching assistants and lead instructors.
  • Monitor learner progress and support instructors, contractors, and other stakeholders during programs.
  • Maintain a professional learning environment by resolving learner issues and responding to inquiries promptly.
  • Lead and coach a small team of 1-2 Operations Analysts.
  • Support client relationships by addressing needs, concerns, and program enhancement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve program delivery, reporting, and operational processes.

Requirements

  • JLPT N2 certification or equivalent professional experience; N1 preferred.
  • Strong command of Keigo in spoken and written Japanese, including complex negotiations and professional presentations.
  • 3-5 years of program management experience, including at least 1 year in an educational or training institution.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
  • Experience leading and managing teams with autonomy and success.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, MS Office Suite, Slack, and Zoom.
  • Experience with data analysis, CRM or Salesforce, and education-related software is a plus.
  • Ability to work remote hours approximately 4:00AM ET - 12:00PM ET.
  • Availability for occasional Saturday work, with compensatory time off provided.
  • Interest in education and willingness to work through ambiguity while managing competing deadlines.
