Description

  • Identify, prospect, and close employer partnerships with companies hiring for program-aligned roles.
  • Build a scalable employer pipeline across technology, financial services, healthcare, logistics, and professional services.
  • Develop and execute outreach strategies to hiring managers, talent acquisition leaders, and HR executives.
  • Structure partnership agreements that include hiring commitments, interview pipelines, and co-branded talent programs.
  • Partner with state workforce agencies and government teams to recruit employers into registered apprenticeship programs.
  • Educate employers on apprenticeship value propositions, tax incentives, and talent retention benefits.
  • Grow the employer base for existing state apprenticeship partnerships and support expansion into new states.
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for employers hiring Amazon Career Choice graduates.
  • Collaborate with program teams to align graduate skill profiles with employer job requirements.
  • Own partnership KPIs, manage the HubSpot-based pipeline, and report results to executive leadership.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience in employer partnerships, business development, or workforce sales.
  • Demonstrated success building employer hiring pipelines and closing partnership agreements with mid-market and enterprise employers.
  • Deep familiarity with workforce development, including registered apprenticeships, employer-sponsored training models, and state/federal workforce programs.
  • Experience working with HR, talent acquisition, and workforce planning teams at Fortune 500 or large-scale employers.
  • Strong understanding of skills-based hiring trends and non-degree talent pipelines.
  • Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, preferably HubSpot, and data-driven pipeline management.
  • Direct experience at a national workforce development organization such as Year Up, Per Scholas, NPower, Generation, JFF, Apprenti, or similar is preferred.
  • Experience with Department of Labor registered apprenticeship programs and compliance requirements is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Career Choice or similar employer education benefit programs is preferred.
  • Experience managing employer relationships across multiple geographies or program verticals simultaneously is preferred.
  • Knowledge of data analytics, cybersecurity, IT support, or operations career pathways is preferred.
