Description

  • Lead the design and implementation of full-stack features across the B2B platform in partnership with product and operations leadership.
  • Drive the convergence of multiple legacy stacks into the core CookUnity codebase and make key architectural decisions.
  • Automate and simplify operationally complex workflows, including smart fridge inventory management and healthcare meal delivery.
  • Maintain and scale AWS infrastructure to support rapid vertical growth.
  • Ensure the platform remains scalable, reliable, and efficient across all B2B verticals.
  • Identify and address technical debt and performance bottlenecks proactively.
  • Iterate on new and existing features to improve user experience, performance, and reliability.
  • Lead code reviews and mentor engineers across different experience levels.
  • Partner with Product, Operations, CX, and other teams in an agile environment to refine the platform.
  • Contribute to documentation, deployment processes, on-call support, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience designing and building cloud-native architectures, backend services, APIs, and full-stack web applications.
  • Strong proficiency with NodeJS / NestJS, ReactJS, AWS, and MySQL or equivalent relational databases.
  • Production experience with Java.
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems, service-oriented architecture, and API design.
  • Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.
  • Experience leading or mentoring engineers in a fast-moving product team (preferred).
  • Interest in growing into a broader technical leadership role as the division scales (preferred).
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira (preferred).
  • Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, infrastructure-as-code, or platform migrations (preferred).
  • Familiarity with IoT, hardware integrations, or computer vision systems is a strong plus.
  • Experience building AI-powered product features, integrating LLM-based workflows, or using agentic tooling in production systems (nice to have).
  • Ability to evaluate and introduce new AI tools or frameworks and establish adoption playbooks (nice to have).
